``tags along" and notes all abnormalities. It then deals with the ones for which an ``action item" have been defined. For example, it may send the driver a message to return a P.O.D., or it may encourage him to complete a job that is running late. Some times, the delivery is in imminent danger of failing to meet its time of delivery, and there is nothing that the computer can do to correct the problem. In those instances, Master Auditor
will display a color coded exception report on any delivery that has gone wrong, so that a ``human" may take the needed corrective action. We recommend that our Master Auditor clients install a very large screen, that can be seen by the entire office staff. That way, everyone in the office knows all about the few jobs that may require a client callback, or handed over to another driver, etc. Anyone can then take whatever corrective action desired.
